Linklaters advises Courtauld on strategic partnership with King’s College London

Linklaters has advised The Courtauld Institute of Art on its 10-year strategic partnership with Kings College London. The landmark partnership will enable the two world-leading institutions to collaboratively develop academic programmes, undergo joint research and benefit from shared expertise.

The Courtauld is recognised globally as a centre for art, history and education, with a strong focus on accessibility for all. The institutions will continue to function as independent bodies, while benefitting from the cultural and academic exchange. The Courtauld and King’s College will jointly curate post graduate provisions, short courses and oversee the progression of PhD studies. With this, students will receive greater access to the broad range of services and activities, enhancing the experience of students within Higher Education in the UK.

This deal highlights the ongoing support the firm continues to give The Courtauld Institute, having helped them navigate the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Linklaters team was led by Corporate partner Owen Clay.
