Education and qualifications


Bobby is a Managing Associate with broad experience advising banks, Fintechs and other financial institutions on all aspects of prudential and structural regulation. He marries this advisory capability with a transactional practice, focusing on complex financings across the credit spectrum.

Work highlights

His most recent experience includes advising:

  • a major international banking group on its IBOR transition plans;
  • a leading UK Fintech on its global corporate reorganisation project; and
  • a major UK retail banking group on its ring-fencing compliance programme, including its intragroup reorganisation, its application to the PRA and FCA for a new banking licence and the establishment and licensing of overseas branches in Singapore and New York.

His multi-jurisdictional experience includes periods working on leading mandates in our New York and Singapore offices.

Bobby also has significant experience in innovation in the provision of legal services and created LinkRFI, Linklaters’ FT award-winning software, which enables banks to automate their ring-fencing compliance. He is also closely involved with the firm’s Nakhoda document generation and negotiation platform.
