Overview
Charlie is an international energy and infrastructure specialist based in Tokyo. He regularly works with and advises sponsors, international companies, utilities, funds, banks, export credit agencies and other financial institutions on industry leading project financings, joint ventures, infrastructure acquisitions and capital market transactions in the renewable and conventional power, natural resources and infrastructure sectors. Much of his recent work involves new renewable and clean technologies.
Charlie is currently based in Linklaters’ Tokyo office and he has also worked in our London and Seoul offices. In 2020, Charlie completed a client secondment at Japanese export credit agency, NEXI.

Education and qualifications
Charlie has a BA (Hons) in History from Durham University. He subsequently studied law at the University of Law, London.
Charlie is qualified in England & Wales.
