Overview

Isabel Ferreira is an Associate in the Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice of the Lisbon office of Linklaters.

Her practice is focused on litigation and national and international arbitration in a varied range of civil law disputes such as corporate, banking and consumer law disputes and class actions.

Isabel assists domestic and international corporate clients on various aspects of contentious and pre-contentious advisory work.

Isabel joined Linklaters in 2022 Lisbon as Associate in its Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice.

Isabel started her legal career as a Trainee Lawyer at Cuatrecasas in Lisbon in 2017, where she became Associate in 2019 and joined the Litigation and Arbitration Department.

During her legal studies Isabel worked as a Consumer Mediator at the National Centre for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Disputes, and as Consumer Information Assistant at the Consumer Conflict Monitoring and Mediation Unit of Nova School of Law, in 2016 and 2017.

Education and qualifications

Isabel holds a Law Degree of the Nova School of Law (2015). 

She obtained a Master´s Degree in Forensic Law and Arbitration of the Nova School of Law (2017).

Isabel furthermore attended the I Course on Consumer Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution of JurisNova, an Association of the Nova School of Law in 2016.

Isabel has been involved in the CAM-CCBC Pre-Moot Competition in São Paulo and participated in the XXIV Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition in Vienna (2016-2017).

Isabel is a fully qualified Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2019.

She speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish.
