Jonathan is notably involved in transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity and investment funds structuring.

Work highlights

Recent transactions handled by Jonathan include amongst others:

  • Ardian: advising the US$5.25bn fundraising of its latest infrastructure secondaries fund – Ardian Secondary Fund VIII Infrastructure. The fund is the largest infrastructure secondaries platform in the world;
  • Webhelp: advising this leading global provider of customer experience and business solutions on the acquisition of Onelink, an innovator in digitally-enabled CX, BPO and technology services supporting tier one brands throughout the United States, Europe, and Latin America;
  • Suez: advising the two private-equity investors Ardian and Global Infrastructure Partners on their takeover offer for this French waste and water management company in the context of the takeover battle between Suez and Veolia.
  • A leading independent French banking group: advising on the acquisition of the French retail banking activities of a British bank, resulting in a major and complex transformation of the French banking group;
  • Ardian: advising on the €7.5bn fundraising of its seventh generation of buyout fund, Ardian Buyout Fund VII, to invest in high-potential business.

Professional experience

Jonathan has been involved in the course of the last years in the mentoring program of awarded students at the International University Campus of Paris (Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris).

He did a four-month secondment in a private equity firm in 2017.

Education and qualifications

Jonathan holds a Master 2 in Corporate Tax from the University Paris Dauphine and a Master 2 in International Tax Law from the University Panthéon Assas Paris 2.

He is admitted at the Paris Bar.

Jonathan speaks French and English.
