Laura is specialised in advising investors, banks, insurance companies and developers on all aspects of real estate law, with a focus on portfolio transactions.

Work highlights

Her recent experience includes:

  • Ares Management: advising on the acquisition of a pan-European portfolio of nine properties located across Europe from Patricia (formerly Patrizia).
  • CapitaLand Commercial Trust (CCT): advising on the acquisition of the office building “Main Airport Center” in Frankfurt by the first and largest commercial REIT listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading.
  • CBRE Investment Management: advising on the acquisition of a portfolio of 1,350 residential units in Germany from Vonovia for €560m. 
  • A Chinese investor: advising on its investment in the “Potsdamer Platz-Quartier” (formerly Daimler-Quartier) in Berlin including a shopping centre, office, a casino, a multiplex cinema and two hotels.
  • Credit Suisse: advising on the acquisition of an office campus in Berlin (Winner of the ClimateProtection Partner Berlin award 2022 in the category "successfully realised projects").
  • A Korean Investor consortium led by Hanwha: advising on the share deal involving the sale of the Frankfurt highrise building “Gallileo” to CapitaLand Commercial Trust (CCT).
  • DekaBank, Patrizia (Triuva) and Principal (INTERNOS): advising on their sale of a pan-European real estate portfolio consisting of 39 properties in nine jurisdictions.
  • Ivanhoé Cambridge: advising on the sale of the office complex "IBC" in Frankfurt.
  • Principal (INTERNOS) and ten institutional investors: advising on the unit deal involving the sale of a pan-European portfolio comprising assets in France, Germany and Italy to Ares Management.
  • Quantum Light Industrial: advising on the acquisition of a light industrial business park located in Berlin.
  • Savills: advising on the sale of a pan-european portfolio consisting of several asset classes.
  • Patrizia (formerly Triuva): advising on the sale of a pan-European portfolio consisting of thirty properties in six jurisdictions to Ares Management. 
  • Vodafone: advising on real estate aspects of Vodafone's strategic partnership with GIP and KKR for Vantage Towers.

 

Professional experience

Laura joined Linklaters in 2014 and became Managing Associate in 2015, based in Frankfurt. In 2019 Laura was seconded to our London-based Linklaters office.

Education and qualifications

Laura studied law at the Universities of Munich and Frankfurt (Germany) and Zürich (Switzerland). During her legal training she, inter alia, completed stages at the Hanseatic Court of Appeal (Berufungsgericht) in Hamburg.

Laura speaks German and English.
