Chris specialises in the tax-related aspects of public and private M&A transactions, group reorganisations, investment funds and capital markets transactions. He has particular expertise in private equity work.

Work highlights

Chris’ recent experience includes advising:

  • an EQT-led consortium on the CHF10.2bn acquisition of Nestlé Skin Health
  • Carlyle Group on its public to private takeover of Harwood Wealth Management
  • Arsenal Capital Partners on the acquisition of Clariant’s healthcare packaging business
  • a number of funds on new capital raisings, including EIG Global Energy Partners and White Oak Global Advisers
  • a number of funds in relation to the impact on their business of measures intended to implement the OECD “base erosion and profit shifting” recommendations
  • several major corporates on their group reorganisations
