Linklaters Adds Tax Equity Partner Michael Rodgers to Growing U.S. Energy & Infrastructure Team

Linklaters is pleased to announce that Michael Rodgers has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as a Partner in the Energy & Infrastructure and Tax practices. He continues a string of major hires for Linklaters’ U.S. Energy & Infrastructure group in the past year, following the arrivals of Partners and Co-Heads of Energy & Infrastructure in the Americas Ron Erlichman and Marius Griskonis in New York, and Senior Counsel Lauren Bachtel and Diana Jeschke in New York and Washington, D.C., respectively.

Michael is a tax equity specialist focused on executing large scale energy transition and renewables transactions, including advising sponsors, lenders, and investors on their projects in the wind, solar, hydro, fuel cell, hydrogen, and carbon capture spaces. He has extensive experience structuring, planning, and negotiating infrastructure and renewable energy transactions with an emphasis on flip partnership structures, repowering transactions, and the qualification of projects for federal income tax credits. He also has experience with M&A tax in the U.S. and in Latin America. Prior to joining Linklaters, Michael practiced at White & Case.
