Inclusive education, support and reintegrate

Linklaters has been involved in charitable initiatives for over 10 years and offers skills-based patronage. Deliberately targeted policies enable the firm to focus its pro bono initiatives on helping disadvantaged individuals to enter or re-enter the corporate sphere, through educational programmes, access to employment and entrepreneurial support. Guiding people, introducing them to the corporate world and fostering entrepreneurship provide us with an opportunity to combat exclusion in all its forms.

Whether we are forging links with schools or supporting charities that help people enter or return to the world of work, these partnerships allow disadvantaged audiences to benefit from our expertise and experience.

Moving forward, together

Beyond this, such public interest projects serve to bring our staff and partners together in support of initiatives that nurture social solidarity.

In the Paris office, all of our lawyers and support staff are encouraged to take part in our pro bono work. In 2015, 56 lawyers and 30 support staff took part in pro bono initiatives for a total of 1,600 hours.

In partnership with Les Entreprises pour la Cité, we participate in a number of initiatives designed to support people from minority backgrounds in starting their careers. One such concept is “coaching-cafés”. Every year since 2007, we have also participated in “Un Jour Un Métier”.
