Linklaters is advising a group of investors on the takeover of IKKS, which is currently subject to French judicial reorganisation proceedings.
By judgment dated 12 December 2025, the Paris Commercial Court approved the sale of the business as a going concern for the IKKS group, which operates the “IKKS Women” and “IKKS Men” clothing retail networks, in favour of Mr Michael Benabou and Mr Santiago Cucci.
Following a competitive bidding process, Mr Michael Benabou and Mr Santiago Cucci, acting through a joint company, will acquire a network of 222 shopping points, including 92 stores operated directly. This transaction will safeguard nearly 550 jobs linked to the “IKKS” stores and the head office.
The Linklaters team was led by François Kopf, Partner, Colin Marvaud, Counsel, and Anaïs Alle, Associate, in Restructuring and Insolvency. The team also included Julien Bourmaud-Danto, Partner, Juline Pottiez and Charlie Hanser, Associates, in Corporate/M&A, as well as Rhéa Christophilopoulos, Partner, and Fanny Allouche, Managing Associate, in Banking.
