Linklaters advises Allianz Capital Partners on sale of stake in ATC Europe

Linklaters has advised Allianz Capital Partners on the sale of a stake in wireless communication tower operator ATC Europe to Commerz Real’s new infrastructure fund Infravest.

ATC Europe owns more than 30,000 towers across Germany, France, and Spain, making it one of the leading wireless communication tower operators in Europe. ATC Europe is the European arm of American Tower Corporation.

A Linklaters team led by Frankfurt-based private capital partner Dr Carl Sanders advised Allianz Capital Partners comprehensively on this transaction. The team included, amongst others, associate Sophie Laureen Schneider (private capital, Frankfurt). Linklaters had also advised Allianz Capital Partners on the acquisition of its stake in ATC Europe.
