Linklaters strengthens Global Risk Advisory team in Germany with leading compliance expert Johannes Dittrich

Linklaters is strengthening its Global Risk Advisory team with the addition of leading risk and compliance expert Dr Johannes Dittrich, effective 1 May 2025, as a Director in the Munich office.

As Head of Risk Advisory, Europe, Johannes will support corporates, financial institutions and financial sponsors in the rapidly changing regulatory and geopolitical environment by identifying and effectively managing their legal and compliance risks.

Johannes was most recently Chief Compliance Officer at Vitesco Technologies for several years. Prior to that, he spent over ten years as an in-house lawyer and compliance officer in global leading positions for Linde, BSH Hausgeräte (Home Appliances) and MAN, focusing on legal compliance, data protection and antitrust.

Johannes will work closely with the firm's Global Risk Advisory team and legal practices to develop comprehensive and tailor-made solutions and implement governance and organisational structures, processes and control mechanisms to effectively manage legal and compliance risks. The unique service combines a deep understanding of internal processes with expertise in regulatory compliance risks, including the areas of financial markets regulation, ESG, digital transformation, white-collar crime and sanctions.
