Asher is a managing associate in the London corporate team. He has a wide range of experience and advises clients across a variety of sectors on domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, including public and private M&A, equity capital markets transactions, corporate reorganisations, and general corporate advisory matters. Asher also spent time on secondment at Centrica in 2020.

Asher’s recent experience includes advising:

  • Anglo American on its takeover defence against BHP's proposed £39bn offer.
  • Mondi in relation to its competing proposed all share combination with DS Smith.
  • SIX Group on the acquisition of a majority stake in a global fixed income data, analytics and solutions provider.
  • Reliance Industries on the £125m acquisition of a sodium-ion battery technology company.
  • WSP Group on its £600m proposed takeover of RPS Group.
  • PwC on the disposal of its global mobility services business to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice for over US$2bn.
  • Alphawave Semi on its £3.1bn initial public offering and listing on the London Stock Exchange.
