Overview

Claudia Wagner joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2018, after gaining five years of experience in the Corporate M&A and Private Equity department of an international and a French law firm in Paris.

She is now managing associate in the corporate mainstream group where she advises investment funds and other private corporate actors in relation to company law, private equity structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and group restructurings.

Work highlights
  • South Europe Infrastructure Equity Finance (SEIEF), a Luxembourg private equity fund focused on PPP and solar assets,  and its limited partners,  in the context of the sale of the entirety of the share capital of SEIEF to AG Altinvest, a 100% subsidiary of France Infrastructures 1 FCPI, an infrastructure equity fund managed by Atlante Gestion SAS.
  • Triton Fund V on the corporate set-up of several investments by way of internal and/or external debt and equity financing, including notably (i) the acquisition of Holiday Holding Rotterdam BV, the holding vehicle of Sunweb, an online seller of package holidays, (ii) the acquisition by way of debt and equity financing of the family-owned business All4Labels, headquartered in Hamburg, one of the world’s leading label companies and pioneer in digital printing solutions and (iii) the acquisition of IFCO Systems BV, a German leader of reusable plastic container.
  • GBL on its acquisition from KKR of a majority stake in Webhelp Group, a global business process outsourcer (BPO), specializing in customer experience, payment, sales and marketing services, together with its co-founding shareholders (who have retain their role as founding executive directors) and its management team, and which constituted the second larger LBO signed in France since 2008

Education and qualifications

Claudia holds a Specialisation certificate in Corporate Law from the University of Montpellier 1 (France) as well as a Master’s degree in Corporate & Tax Law from the University of Nancy 2 (France).

Claudia speaks French and English
