Overview

Dzhuliia is an Associate in the global Antitrust & Foreign Investment Group, based in Belgium. She advises clients on all aspects of EU competition law and regulation, including antitrust investigations and related litigation, Foreign Subsidies Regulation, state aid and merger control.

Dzhuliia works in English, French and Ukrainian.

Work highlights
  • A multinational technology company: advising on the action for annulment brought before the General Court against a decision adopted by the European Commission.
  • Various clients including a Middle Eastern investment fund: advising on several FSR notifications as well as setting up information gathering and developing a tailored FSR methodology.
  • Single Resolution Board: advising on various cases before the General Court and the Court of Justice, including multiple actions for annulment in relation to the ex-ante contributions to the Single Resolution Fund, the resolution of Banco Popular Español in 2017, the first resolution of a bank under EU law, and the (non-) resolution of Sberbank Austria AG and its subsidiaries in 2022.
  • A global construction company: advising on the competition law compliance audit.

Professional experience

Prior to joining Linklaters in 2023, Dzhuliia spent three years as an Academic Assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges.

Education and qualifications

Dzhuliia holds degrees in international law and economics as well as an LL.M. in EU Law from the College of Europe (Bruges).
