Overview

Héloïse is an associate in our Paris office, specialising in banking law and financial regulation. She focuses her practice on all regulatory aspects of investment and banking services, investment management, insurance law and market infrastructures. Héloïse advises on all aspects of financial markets regulation, including licensing and regulatory compliance, cross-border provision of services, the implementation of MiFID II and other regulatory reforms including the new prudential and governance regime for investment firms (IFR/IFD).

She advises domestic and international banking and financial institutions and financial intermediaries in a large variety of work, including the following: licensing of institutions, change of control, provision of banking, payment and investment services, investment funds regulation, governance including remuneration rules as well as banking and financial litigation matters.

Héloïse has experience in a variety of advisory matters in relation to MiFID II, CRR/CRD IV, CRD V, IFR/IFD, BRRD, EMIR, SFTR, CSDR, AIFMD, UCITS, DSP2 and MAR for institutional players, banks, investment firms and management companies, but also innovative start-ups.

She is also involved in ESG regulatory requirements applying to financial market participants such as Taxonomy Regulation and Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).

Education and qualifications

Héloïse holds a Master in International Economic Law from University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and an LLM in International Law from the University of Bristol.

She also obtained her Certificate of Higher Education in English Law from the University of Birmingham and holds a Bachelor in French and English Law from the Université de Bordeaux.
