Overview

Jérémy joined the Corporate and Finance group at Linklaters in 2015. He has gained experience in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, equity issues, incentive plans and on general advice on corporate and financial law matters.

In addition to his experience in corporate law, he has also worked on many matters in the field of public and administrative law as well as capital markets and banking.

Work highlights

Jérémy has advised on a wide range of major corporate transactions. These include advising:

  • Orange Belgium SA, in the framework of the acquisition of VOO SA
  • E.ON, in the framework of the sale of Essent Belgium SA/NV to Luminus SA
  • Richemont, in the framework of the acquisition of Delvaux, the renowned Belgian luxury leather goods Maison
  • Proximus, in the framework of the acquisition of the full ownership of Belgacom International Carrier Services
  • RTL group, in the framework of the sale of RTL Belgium to DPG Media and Groupe Rossel 
  • Sofina, in the framework of its investments in Oviva and in Biobest

Jérémy has written articles and papers on numerous subjects on company law and financial law.

  • Jeremy advises many of the largest Belgian companies on their corporate governance and the remuneration of their executives, regularly delivering advice at board level. He has also written articles and papers on numerous subjects on company law and financial law. 

Education and qualifications

Jérémy holds a master’s degree in Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles, an LL.M in Private International Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles and an LL.M in Chinese Law from Peking University.

He works fluently in French, English and Dutch.
