Krystal holds a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. In law school, she served as President of the Moot Court Board and as Chief of Staff for the Black Law Students Association. 

Krystal graduated magna cum laude from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. She received a Master’s Degree from Rutgers University in 2020.
