Overview

Kylee has over a decade of experience in advising investment fund managers on the structuring, establishment and operation of hedge, private equity and mutual funds. She also advises fund managers on ongoing regulatory requirements, including U.S. regulatory and compliance matters.

Kylee is uniquely positioned to advise clients having served as Deputy General Counsel of the hedge fund business of an alternative investment management firm in Singapore. Prior to that, she worked in top-tier investment funds practices in Hong Kong SAR and London. 

Work highlights

Kylee has extensive experience in the investment funds practice. Her work experience includes advising:

  • Several Hong Kong and Singapore fund managers on the establishment and operation of private funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds and debt funds.
  • Several Chinese asset managers on the development of their asset management business, including the formation of private equity funds and segregated portfolio companies.

Professional experience

Kylee was recognised as a “Next Generation Lawyer” for investment funds by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific in 2017.

Education and qualifications

Kylee studied law at University of Bristol and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the University of Hong Kong.

Kylee is Hong Kong and New York law qualified. She speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
