Experience

Specialised experience in all fields of national and international finance with focus on syndicated lending, acquisition finance, Schuldschein loans and financing in the context of spinoff and other corporate organisations.

Transactions of significance where substantial involvement can be disclosed have included:

  • Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan on the financing of the proposed acquisition of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation by Infineon Technologies
  • Peugeot S.A. in connection with its debut Schuldschein loan transaction in an amount of more than €500m
  • Deutsche Börse and Clearstream Banking in connection with a €750m syndicated credit facility with Positive Incentive Financing components
  • Merck in connection with the financing of the US$5.9bn offer to acquire Versum Materials
  • Bayer in relation to its new €4.5 bn syndicated multicurrency revolving credit facility entered into with a syndicate of national and international banks
  • Grünenthal on the financing of the acquisition of AstraZeneca's European rights to Nexium and the global (excluding US and Japan) rights to Vimovo for a total consideration of up to US$922m (€811m)
