Linklaters advises on the milestone holdco financing by alstria (Brookfield)

Linklaters has advised the banks on the debut offering of senior secured notes by the holding companies of alstria office AG. The proceeds of the offering, totalling €300m, together with the €800m equity contribution from the shareholders, will be used to repay the acquisition bridge financing in connection with the LBO of alstria office AG by affiliates of Brookfield.

alstria Office AG (Brookfield) is a leading real estate company focused on acquiring, owning and managing a first class portfolio of office real estate in Germany.

The Linklaters high yield team was led by partner Giacomo Reali and included US associates Samy Amirouchen, Kristian Sutt, Juan Diego Tibaduiza and Makenna Cherry.

The team was also supported on banking matters by London partner Angus Graham, alongside managing associate Josh White and associate Riddhima Wahi.
