Linklaters advises Intermarché on the acquisition of 81 supermarkets and 44 service stations from Colruyt Group

Linklaters has advised Groupement Mousquetaires, the third-largest retail chain in France, on merger control matters in connection with the signing of an agreement by its members for the acquisition of 81 supermarkets and 44 service stations from Colruyt Group, located in Eastern and Central-Eastern France.

Completion of this transaction, expected in the first half of 2026, remains subject to the information and consultation procedure with the employee representative bodies of Colruyt Retail France and to clearances from the French Competition Authority.
