Linklaters advises Insight Investment on its implementation of up to €47 million in debt financing to support Faktus

Linklaters has advised Insight Investment on its implementation, whilst acting on behalf of certain funds under its investment management, of up to €47m in debt financing to support Faktus, a French FinTech dedicated to providing financing solutions to SMEs in the construction sector.

The financing is structured around a securitisation fund* (FCT) granting loans secured by existing and future receivables arising from construction contracts.

The Linklaters team was made of Guillaume Malaty, Counsel and Julien Bourgeois, Associate in Structured Finance, on the French law aspects, and Alexander Shopov, Partner and Michele Daelemans, Managing Associate in Structured Finance, on the English law aspects. 

Faktus was advised by Ashurst, with a team led by Agathe Motte and Aurélien Fournier.
