Linklaters advises the TotalEnergies and RWE consortium on the award of the Centre Manche 2 offshore wind project
Linklaters has advised the consortium formed by TotalEnergies and RWE, which was selected by the Ministry of Industry and Energy as the winner of the “Centre Manche 2” offshore wind tender. This project consists in the development, construction, and operation of a 1.5 gigawatt (GW) offshore wind farm off the coast of Normandy and will become the largest renewable energy project ever undertaken in France.
Once built, the wind farm will generate approximately six terawatt-hours per year and supply green electricity to the equivalent of more than one million French households. The project will represent a total investment of around €4.5 billion.
