Linklaters advises Vonovia on its first Kangaroo bond issuance in the amount of A$ 850 million
Linklaters has advised Vonovia SE on its successful debut in the Australian bond market. The issuance volume of the unsecured bonds amounts to 850 million Australian dollars (approximately EUR 475 million). The issuance was carried out under Vonovia’s A$ Debt Issuance Programme. Two series were placed, with maturities of seven and ten years.
With its inaugural Kangaroo bond, Vonovia has gained access to new investors. Since 2023, the company has diversified its investor base and accessed the capital markets in the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, among others.
