Linklaters Advises Banks on Vista Argentina's US$500 Million Bond Issuance

Linklaters advised the banks in connection with the Rule 144A/Regulation S cross-border offering by Vista Energy Argentina S.A.U. of US$500 million 7.875% senior notes due 2038. The offering was announced on March 30, 2026, priced on April 1, 2026, and closed on April 8, 2026. The notes are expected to be listed on the Bolsa y Mercados Argentina S.A., and admitted for trading on BYMA and on A3 Mercados S.A.

Vista Argentina is a leading shale oil-focused company engaged in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas in Argentina. Vista is the largest independent oil operator in Argentina and in Vaca Muerta, the most extensive shale oil and gas play under development outside North America. The issuer is a subsidiary of Vista Energy S.A.B. de C.V., a Mexican publicly traded corporation with shares listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange and ADSs listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
