Linklaters advised BNP Paribas Asset Management Alts, through its GP Stake strategy managed by the Prime unit for a diversified pool of investors, on its acquisition of a minority stake in Committed Advisors alongside Wendel’s controlling stake.

This investment, which strengthens the long-lasting relationship between BNPP AM Alts and Wendel, will enable Committed Advisors, a global private investment firm focusing on the mid-market, to benefit from BNPP AM Alts’ additional resources and expertise to support its development and continue its growth by leveraging its key position as a leading secondary manager.

This new transaction is part of the ongoing active deployment of BNPP AM Alts’ GP Stake investment team, which aims to support leading private markets players in their next stages of development. It follows the recent acquisition of a minority stake in Monroe Capital LLC, a prominent private credit market player focused on the U.S middle market, on which Linklaters was also involved.

The Linklaters team was composed of Mehdi Boumedine, Partner, and Aïda Fraikech, Associate, in Corporate/M&A. Leïla Juvin, Counsel, and Colyne Nguyên, Associate, advised on tax aspects. Ngoc Hong Ma, Partner, and Anna Petrusa, Associate, advised on financial regulatory aspects.
