Linklaters has advised leading private equity investors Permira and Warburg Pincus on the sale of the wealth management group Evelyn Partners to NatWest Group. NatWest has agreed to acquire Evelyn Partners for a £2.7 billion enterprise value.

The cross-practice team was led by Private Equity Partner and Co-Head of the firm’s Global Financial Sponsors Sector Alex Woodward and Private Equity Partner Chris Boycott. They brought together expertise from across Linklaters, working with Employment & Incentives Partner Bradley Richardson, Tax Partner Jamie Coomber and Antitrust & Foreign Investment Partner Neil Hoolihan. They were supported by Corporate Managing Associate Ksenija Brajovic and Corporate Associate Louisa Pratt.

The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, is expected to complete in the summer of 2026.
