Linklaters announces 30 new partner elections worldwide

  • New partners elected from 11 different practice areas and across 10 countries
  • Majority of new partners are based outside the UK, underscoring Linklaters' continued global growth and ambition

Linklaters has today announced the election of 30 new partners drawn from 10 jurisdictions and 11 practice areas. The promotions take effect from 1 May 2020.

Of the new elections, 53% are based outside of the UK, reflecting the global nature of the firm.

The make-up of the new partners is as follows:

  • Divisions: Corporate (13), Finance (14), and Dispute Resolution (3)
  • Practices: Mainstream Corporate (7), Competition / Antitrust (3), Employment (1), Tax (1), TMT / IP (1), Dispute Resolution (3), Banking (2), Capital Markets (7), Financial Regulation (1), Investment Funds (1), and Energy & Infrastructure (3)
  • Regions: UK (14), Europe (10), Asia (4), and Americas (2)
  • Gender: Male 73% (22) and Female 27% (8), with a three-year rolling average of 32.2% female partners
