Linklaters is delighted to announce the continued expansion of the firm’s U.S. disputes and sports offering with the arrival of César Rivière as a Partner in the firm’s Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice in New York. César joins alongside Counsel Grant May and Associate Cara Day, all from Paul Weiss, following the arrival last month of H. Christopher Boehning and Daniel H. Levi. They continue Linklaters’ strategic investment in the U.S., where the firm has grown its partnership by more than 75% since FY21 with the addition of elite teams across M&A, disputes, and finance.

César represents a wide variety of clients in complex commercial litigation and international arbitration, with a particular focus on post-M&A and international business disputes. He has wide-ranging sector expertise including sports, insurance, luxury goods, telecommunications, and reinsurance.
Grant and Cara also bring experience advising clients on complex commercial disputes, investigations, and international arbitration matters, further adding to the team’s depth in New York.
This month’s arrivals build on significant investment in Linklaters’ U.S. Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations platform over the past two years, including the addition of a leading trial team led by Chair of the Trial Practice Adeel Mangi and Partners Muhammad Faridi, Diana Conner, and George LoBiondo, and a top international arbitration team led by Co-Head of International Arbitration Joe Profaizer.
They also build on the momentum reflected in Linklaters’ recent record FY26 results, with the firm more than doubling revenue and quadrupling profit in the U.S. over the past four years.
