By the time of its fifth birthday in 2024, Re:link was firmly recognised among the top tier of flexible legal staffing operations by the pre eminent legal guide Chambers and Partners. For the past two years, Re:link has achieved Band 1 ranking in Chambers’ prestigious NewLaw guide, outranking key competitors across many categories and scoring 5/5 for client service and sophistication of work.
While the platform has continued to grow its brand and client base across the UK, it has also seized the opportunity to expand its offering overseas, by opening a new desk in Dubai. Olivia Steel-Breen has been part of the Re:link team for over four years and is currently a Client Manager focusing on key corporate, technology, infrastructure and disputes roles. She explains how the culture and environment at the platform has subtly shifted with the passage of time: “There is definitely a feeling here that we have made the transition from a start-up to a super-professional outfit at the top of our game,” Olivia observes. “But we still have the mentality that we want to improve and broaden our services. Re:link today is much more closely aligned with the Linklaters strategic imprint as a whole, which means that we are hyper-focused on the firm’s key clients and industry sectors. There is a fresh energy and sense of purpose. We know our consultants extremely well and provide clients with precisely the right fit for their needs.”

We provide fully vetted lawyers, ready to hit the ground running,” Olivia explains. “Interestingly, many of our clients are alumni who know and trust the Linklaters brand. Our clients know that we work closely with Linklaters partners selecting the right Re:link lawyer, and that fills them with confidence.”
“A bank will have a clear idea of the type of help it needs, as opposed to a smaller corporate with a more compact in-house legal team,” Olivia says. “In any case, it is the quality of service that is most appreciated, whether we’re placing an interim General Counsel or someone to help steady the ship in a less senior role. Our clients know that Re:link lawyers will all be ultra-commercial, pragmatic people who add real value to their teams.”
“There’s extra focus on the private capital space but AI is now right at the top of the client agenda,” Olivia comments. “We are looking for an AI-ready bench of consultants across all spaces, equipped and trained to handle all the new technology that is such a massive part of today’s legal world.”
The Re:link team has enjoyed working with partners in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, successfully placing Re:link lawyers into prestigious placements. Growing Re:link’s presence in the Middle East is a top priority for the team this year, as it seeks to build on the growth and momentum in the region.
As part of Limitless by Linklaters, Re:link has been able to offer a wide selection of services to clients. Limitless provides clients with an integrated approach across ALS services (Paralegals and Support Lawyers, Legal project managers, LegalTech professionals and Re:link), offering in-depth specialist expertise alongside innovative solutions. Limitless has continued to provide a seamless partnership with Re:link from which the platform has benefited greatly. “We’re able to offer so much more as part of Limitless,” Olivia says. “We have sister teams of paralegals, legal project managers and AI experts on hand and we’re able to fulfil client requests for positions that are not purely legal in areas such as sustainability.”

Visha’s range of interests and commitment to excellence across many different spheres qualifies her as almost the epitome of a Re:link person and she makes no attempt to disguise her enthusiasm for the platform’s continued progress: “There are so many different perspectives in this job and it’s particularly interesting to see them evolve in the age of AI,” Visha says. “I can’t help thinking that we are still only at the tip of the iceberg with Re:link; so many exciting opportunities are opening up here that our scope for growth seems obvious to me.”
