From day one, you’ll contribute to live client matters alongside experienced lawyers. Depending on your seat, you could help draft documents for a major corporate transaction, research financial regulation or support an international arbitration or dispute. You’ll gain valuable legal work experience, take on real responsibility and have the support of your team as you develop.
Much of our work crosses borders, bringing together colleagues, clients and expertise from across our global network. You could contribute to an international transaction, financing or dispute, gaining first-hand experience of how international law and business come together. Many trainees also have the opportunity to complete an international secondment and experience working in another market.
No. You don’t need to choose a specialism before you apply for a Training Contract. You’ll complete four six-month seats across different practice areas, giving you broad legal experience and the opportunity to discover where your interests and strengths lie before you qualify.
