Work Highlights
Carmen has led or advised on many market-leading deals. These include:
- Advising Permira on the €2.2bn sale to EQT of a majority stake in Universidad Europea, as well as on its acquisition of a stake in AltamarCAM.
- Advising Ardian and the minority shareholders on the transfer to CVC Capital Partners of Monbake, as well as on the subsequent add-on of La Niña del Sur. She also advised on the previous acquisition of Monbake by Ardian.
- Advising Actis on the acquisition from Asterion of a portfolio of 11 data centers in Chile, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Mexico and USA.
- Advising Vauban Infrastructure Partners and Credit Agricole Assurance on the €2.5bn acquisition of a 45% stake of the rural fiber of Telefónica, Bluevía Fibra.
- Advising Crédit Agricole Assurances and Energy Infrastructure Partners on the €905m acquisition of a 25% stake in Repsol Renovables from Repsol.
- Advising IVIRMA’s shareholders on the €3bn sale of the company to KKR – the biggest transaction in the Spanish Private Equity sector in 2023.
