Francesca is a counsel in Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations in London, specialising in complex litigation and investigations. She has extensive experience advising on high-stakes, contentious mandates for leading global corporates and financial institutions.
In the technology sector, Francesca advises on investigations and engagement with international regulators, including on privacy and data protection, online safety, AI and consumer protection. She is one of the firm’s online safety specialists and advises clients on engaging with Ofcom on the Online Safety Act and the European Commission on the Digital Services Act.
In financial services, Francesca has acted on investigations and enforcement matters involving the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), as well as international prosecutors. She also advises on ESG risks, including regulatory engagement and potential enforcement.
Having worked in London, Dublin, Australia and the UAE, Francesca is adept at coordinating complex, cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters and navigating the expectations of regulators in different markets.
During her time at Linklaters, Francesca has completed client secondments a global entertainment platform and an Australian multinational banking and financial services company, and has also been seconded to our alliance firm, Allens in Sydney. She also acted as a judicial assistant in the Chancery Division at the Royal Courts of Justice.
Francesca is passionate about DEI and is one of the inaugural members of the Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations DEI Committee. Her pro bono efforts include acting for eyeWitness to Atrocities.
Francesca studied Law at the University of Cambridge and spent a year on exchange studying French Law at the University of Poitiers. Francesca completed her LPC at the University of Law in Moorgate, London.
