Xu obtained both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in international business law at Tilburg University. She also studied law at the University of Hong Kong.

Xu is a Managing Associate in the Capital Markets practice group of Linklaters. She is based in Amsterdam and advises on capital markets transactions, with a focus on equity and equity-linked transactions. Her expertise includes equity offerings and debt issues and liability management transactions, acting both for financial institutions and issuers.
In 2018, Xu has spent six months in the firm’s Hong Kong office, giving her direct experience of working with local clients in Southeast Asia.
Xu started her career as a lawyer at Linklaters in 2013 and in the capital markets practice in 2014, where she mainly focused on equity transactions. In 2017, Xu spent 6 months in the Linklaters Hong Kong office, where she focused on debt capital transactions. In 2018, Xu joined Flow Traders, a leading global financial technology-enabled liquidity provider in financial products listed on Euronext Amsterdam, as a legal counsel. She returned to Linklaters as a Managing Associate in 2021.
