Overview

Adrien is a counsel in our Luxembourg investment funds practice. He focuses on private equity, real estate, infrastructure, debt and venture capital fundraising, including the structuring, marketing and establishment of funds, as well as advising investors on their investments across a wide range of asset classes. His expertise includes structuring co-investments and bespoke solutions, including continuation funds.

Adrien also leads the investor practice in Luxembourg, acting for insurance companies, corporates and sovereign wealth funds on their investment activities.

Experience

Partners Group on the set-up of its flagship private equity, infrastructure and private debt funds, on a significant number of dedicated managed accounts and co-investment vehicles as well as on Partners Group’s private wealth products.
Barings on fund formation and regulatory matters across all asset classes such as its European evergreen private debt fund and capital solution fund (both targeting institutional investors), its evergreen European private debt fund targeting private wealth investors, its Special Sits 4 fund, its Global, European and US flagship private credit funds, its infrastructure debt fund range and numerous managed accounts across asset classes.
Deutsche Beteiligungs AG: on the structuring, establishment and fundraising of a co-investment vehicle investing alongside DBAG’s flagship private equity fund in MAIT Group.
Vesper Infrastructure Partners: on the structuring, establishment and fundraising of Vesper Next Generation Infrastructure Fund I, one of the largest European first-time infrastructure funds in recent years as well as on several co-investment structures investing alongside the fund.
Cerberus as Luxembourg fund counsel across its fund products, including its loan opportunities fund range.
A French insurance company in relation to its investments in numerous private funds across all strategies, as well as a number of bespoke managed accounts.
Redalpine, a leading European venture capital sponsor, on the structuring of the Summit Fund, one of only European open-ended venture capital funds in the market, as well as on the establishment and fundraising of Redalpine’s flagship funds.

Beyond the Office

Adrien is involved in the activities of the fund industry organisations in Luxembourg. He is on several working groups of the Luxembourg fund industry association ALFI and of the Luxembourg Private Equity Association LPEA.

Education, Qualifications and Languages

Adrien holds a Degree in law from the University of Aix-en-Provence (France) as well as a diploma in common law from University College Cork (UCC, Ireland). Adrien speaks English, French, Luxembourgish and German.
