Sebastian studied law at the University of Potsdam and the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense.
He speaks German, English and French.Sebastian specialises in public law, in particular environmental and planning law. He regularly advises clients in relation to environmental compliance requirements and on questions of permitting and environmental law in M&A transactions, inter alia regarding emissions control law, water and soil protection law, mining law as well as liability risks under environmental law and their contractual allocation. Furthermore, Sebastian also advises on questions regarding climate change, ESG and product-related environmental law (mainly chemicals law).
He is a member of the Linklaters ESG Working Group.
