Overview
Leah is a Counsel based in our London office and heads up our Trusts team. She has a broad practice which includes transactional and advisory work.
Leah has experience advising on the use of trusts and trust related issues arising in M&A transactions, corporate reorganisations, business restructurings, complex refinancings and in the FinTech space. She also advises banks and other financial institutions on trust and tax matters related to their trust business.
Leah also maintains a private client practice which involves advising trustees and high net worth individuals on trust law, tax and succession matters, often with an international element.
Leah is a senior sponsor and board member of our Gender Equality Network.
Leah has been named in eprivateclient's Top 35 Under 35 which recognises rising stars in the wealth advisory sector.

- Advising insolvency practitioners from PricewaterhouseCoopers as administrators of Lehman Brothers on aspects of the global insolvency.
- Advising Unilever in the context of the historic simplification of its dual-listed structure and the €4.5bn disposal of its global tea business to CVC.
- Advising OHL, the global infrastructure group, in respect of its market-leading and complex cross-border restructuring and scheme of arrangement.
- Advising Investec in the context of the demerger and listing of its asset management business, Ninety One.
- Advising Mondi Group in respect of the simplification of its existing structure from a dual listed company structure to a single holding company structure under Mondi plc.
- Advising a consortium of financial institutions and Clearmatics in respect of the development of the Utility Settlement Coin (USC), an asset-backed digital cash instrument on blockchain for use within global institutional financial markets.
- Advising a client based in the Middle East on establishing a private trust company structure for their multinational corporate group.
- Advising the trustee of family trusts in respect of the proposed sale of their underlying luxury goods business.
