Overview
Etienne is a counsel in Linklaters’ Paris Restructuring & Insolvency team. His practice spans complex financial and operational restructurings, as well as insolvency‑related litigation, enabling him to support clients seamlessly at every stage of restructuring and insolvency matters. He acts for a broad range of stakeholders across the capital structure, including debtors, creditors, shareholders and investors.
Experience
- Segula Technologies: assisting on its financial restructuring and its accelerated safeguard proceedings.
- Bourbon’s key stakeholders: advising JP Morgan, Bank of America and Triton as part of the financial restructuring of the Bourbon group.
- European Investment Bank: advising as part of the amicable restructuring of an engineering services provider for automotive industry as well as part of the insolvency proceedings of Sigfox.
- EuroAPI’s lenders: advising EuroAPI’s RCF lenders as part of the amicable financial restructuring of its indebtedness.
- CACIB and Crédit Suisse: advising the agents as part of the financial restructuring of the Casino group, which was completed as part of accelerated safeguard proceedings.
- The Euro PP noteholders: advising on the amicable restructuring of LFB, a French laboratory fully owned subsidiary of the Agence de Participations de l’Etat (APE).
- The French State: advising on providing new money financing as part of the sanctioned conciliation proceedings of ARC International.
Education, Qualifications and Languages
Etienne graduated from the Paris bar school (Ecole de Formation du Barreau) in 2017. He holds a master’s degree in Insolvency Law from La Sorbonne University, Paris I. He speaks French and English fluently.
