Overview
Michael has extensive experience representing companies and individuals in a range of cross-border disputes and investigations across Asia, Mainland Europe, the UK, and the US. Michael focuses his practice on financial crime related matters, including the US FCPA. He regularly advises clients on identifying and mitigating risks arising from US economic and trade sanctions. Michael also represents financial institutions and other regulated entities in contentious regulatory matters both in Asia and the US.
Michael previously led global investigations for more than three years as in-house counsel for a global financial institution in London. Before moving in-house, Michael worked at a leading international law firm in Washington, D.C., specializing in corporate investigations and white collar criminal defense matters.
