John holds a Law degree from King’s College London. John also has an MsC in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law.
John is a managing associate in the M&A (Private Equity) team in London and regularly works with private equity firms and other financial sponsors on domestic and cross-border M&A, co-investments, disposals, carve-outs, management investment plans and general corporate advisory matters.
John has experience across a variety of sectors, including financial services, industrials, healthcare and digital infrastructure
In 2024, John spent 9 months on secondment as legal counsel at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London, where he assisted with managing, negotiating and executing acquisitions and disposals, and providing ongoing advice regarding portfolio company issues. John’s coverage at Goldman Sachs Asset Management included their private equity, infrastructure and sustainable investing teams.
In 2020, John spent 6 months on secondment in the Linklaters Frankfurt office.
