Mariusz is a managing associate in the Investment Funds practice in Luxembourg. He advises major international asset managers on the full life cycle of their investment funds, from initial structuring and launch, through ongoing operations and regulatory compliance, to restructurings and wind-downs. His key area of expertise is alternative investment funds, in particular real estate, private equity, private credit and infrastructure strategies.
Mariusz is an industry expert on accessing private wealth for alternative funds such as semi-liquid and evergreen funds, ELTIFs, access funds, tech platform solutions and alternative distribution networks.
He regularly supports clients on fund structuring, governance and cross-border distribution, as well as on day-to-day regulatory and compliance issues.
Mariusz has completed secondments with a leading real estate investment manager and with the Investment Funds practice in Linklaters’ London office, giving him a strong understanding of both sponsor and private practice perspectives.
Mariusz is a member of several working groups of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), where he contributes to industry discussions on alternative funds, ELTIFs and sustainable finance. He also participates in initiatives of the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA) and is an active member of Luxembourg-Poland Chamber of Commerce.
Mariusz holds an LL.M. in European Banking and Financial Law from the University of Luxembourg and a Master’s degree in Law (with honours) from the University of Warsaw. Prior to joining Linklaters, he worked in the Investment Funds and Capital Markets practice of a law firm in Luxembourg.
He was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2018.
