Thomas is a member of the German Association for Law and Information Technology (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Recht und Informatik – DGRI e.V.).
Thomas is a member of the German Association for Law and Information Technology (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Recht und Informatik – DGRI e.V.).
Thomas is specialised in international and national data protection law, telecommunications and IT law. He also has particular expertise in the regulation of new technologies, especially AI and digital platforms. He regularly advises on complex technology projects and supports outsourcing and M&A transactions from a data protection and IT law perspective.
Thomas also advises companies on complaint proceedings against data protection authorities and represents companies in and out of court against claims for damages under data protection laws.
Thomas joined Linklaters as an Associate in 2022.
Thomas studied law at the University of Munich, before completing a PhD in law at the University of Speyer.
He speaks German and English.
