Overview

Alexandra specialises in the structuring, formation and distribution of German and international investment funds across the alternative investments spectrum, with particular expertise in real estate, private equity, infrastructure, private debt and renewable energy. She combines this with deep technical knowledge of insurance regulatory matters and extensive experience in drafting and negotiating market-standard and bespoke investment arrangements for institutional investors. Most recently, Alexandra broadened her commercial insight through a four-month secondment with a leading financial sponsor.

Experience

Her clients include Allianz Capital Partners, Barings, CBRE Investment Management, KKR, Macquarie Group and various German pension funds and Swiss pension funds.

Advising KKR on an ongoing basis on distribution and regulatory matters in connection with various of their private equity, private credit and infrastructure funds.
Advising an international investment management firm on complex outsourcing matters.
Leading a due diligence transaction in connection with the investment by a globally active, listed market leader into a private credit fund of funds via a purpose-built private markets investment platform.

Beyond the Office

Alexandra has been working at Linklaters since 2016 and was promoted to Managing Associate in 2022. Since joining the firm, Alexandra has been actively involved in various pro bono activities, including the drafting of a report on women's rights in collaboration with the association “Penal Reform International”.

Education, Qualifications and Languages

Alexandra studied law at the University of Freiburg, where she also earned her doctorate degree with suma cum laude.

She speaks German and English.
