Overview

Andrew regularly acts for bank and fund clients on complex sponsor-backed European leverage finance transactions, including term loan B, bank and bond and unitranche financings. Andrew also has experience in transactions that cross over between leveraged and infrastructure finance and fund finance. His work is also guided by his experience working on distressed situations and restructurings.

Work Highlights

Buckthorn: advising the lenders on the financings for Buckthorn’s investments in Acteon, Amey and Cardo.
PAI: advising the lenders on the financings for PAI’s investments in Infra Group and Nuzoa Animal Health.
Redslim: advising the lenders of the financing for Astorg’s investment in Redslim.
Trackunit: advising the lenders on the financing for GSAM’s investment in Trackunit.
Uvesco: advising the lenders on the financing for the management buyout of Uvesco.
ADNOC Oil Pipelines: advising certain investors in respect of the financings of certain stakes in ADNOC Oil Pipelines.
ADNOC Gas Pipelines: advising certain investors in respect of the financings of certain stakes in ADNOC Gas Pipelines.

Beyond the Office

Andrew previously led the firm’s Abu Dhabi banking practice and was co-head of the firm’s Abu Dhabi office. He was also previously based in the firm’s New York office.

Andrew regularly speaks at at market events and conferences, including those sponsored by the Financial Times and the Loan Market Association (LMA).

Education and Qualifications

Andrew studied law at the University of Leeds and holds a master of laws from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
