Overview

Anna is registered on the list I of the Luxembourg Bar and has firstly joined our capital markets and banking department in 2022, having previously gained professional experience in Luxembourg while working for another major law firm as well as an international fund service provider. In 2023 she was seconded for 6 months to our Frankfurt corporate department specialising in private equity transactions.

Anna’s expertise includes general company law, legal advice to private equity firms, restructurings and co-investment vehicles. Anna also recently advised several clients on the set-up of special purpose acquisition vehicles (SPACs) and their listing on a regulated market.

Work highlights
  • Montagu Private Equity: advising on the carve-out acquisition of Multifonds from Temenos AG, enhancing Montagu’s portfolio with a global leader in investment accounting and transfer agency software.
  • Fosun International Limited: advising on the sale of Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank AG, a leading German private bank, to ABN AMRO Bank N.V. The transaction included the strategic carve-out of a substantial Luxembourg asset servicing business. Linklaters Luxembourg played a central role in both the carve-out and the overall sale process.
  • A global leader in alternative investment manager: advising on the acquisition and public securitisation of a residential mortgage loan portfolio, including the structuring of interim and final buyer entities and the orchestration of a two-phase transfer and securitisation process.
  • A leading private equity firm: advising on the divestment of two portfolio companies in the telecom infrastructure and technology consulting sectors, including the establishment of co-investment structures and upstreaming of exit proceeds through Luxembourg entities.
  • Deutsche Beteiligungs AG: advising on several investments, most recently on the acquisition of AVRIO Energie GmbH, a German platform developing green energy.
  • Antin Infrastructure Partners: advising on the formation of a joint venture with Scandinavian Enviro Systems supported by Michelin for the large-scale recycling of tires.
  • Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 4LP: advising on the sale of its stake in Energie Steiermark AG, the fourth largest integrated utility in Austria and largest energy company in Styria, Provincial Government of Styria.

Education and qualifications

Anna holds an LL.M. in European Private Law from the University of Luxembourg.

She speaks French, English, German and Russian.
