Bruno has been an associate in our Belgian Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations team since 2021. He was also an assistant lecturer and an affiliated researcher of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Constitutional Research of the UCLouvain Saint-Louis – Brussels between 2021 and 2024, regularly publishing on ESG, climate and EU energy topics.
Bruno is an associate in our Belgian Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice.
He focuses on disputes and investigations in the energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors. His practice covers ESG, climate and human rights litigation, EU energy and public law, and business crime matters, with a particular emphasis on EU sanctions – turning complex regulatory change and geopolitical risk into clear, actionable dispute and risk management strategies.
In addition, Bruno was also an assistant lecturer and an affiliated researcher of the UCLouvain Saint-Louis – Brussels between 2021 and 2024. He frequently publishes on a variety of topics, including environmental and energy law.
Bruno is a passionate advocate for social mobility and has been a mentor of students from disadvantaged backgrounds embarking on a career in the legal sector. He is also a pro bono coordinator and a member of the Green Committee of our Belgian office.

Bruno was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2021 (Finalist Prix George Boels).
He holds a Master of Laws degree in environmental and energy law (LL.M.) from the Stanford University (2024-2025), and a Double Master of Law degree in international and European law and financial regulation from the KU Leuven (2019-2020) and Universität Zürich (2020-2021). He obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from the University Saint-Louis – Brussels (2016-2019; Law Faculty Prize “Prix du Bac”).
Bruno fluently speaks French, English and Portuguese, and has a working knowledge of Dutch.
