Caleb holds a Bachelor of Laws from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and a Master of Laws from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Nigeria and New York.

Caleb is an Associate in the Linklaters’ U.S Structured Finance Practice.
His experience involves advising on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), leveraged loan warehouse financings and Asset Backed Securities (ABS), including securitization of data centres, renewables, credit card receivables, auto loans and leases, covered bonds, aviation assets and U.S. Law components of European and Australian residential and commercial mortgages.
Caleb has experience advising on New York securities law and U.S. federal securities law, including Rule 144A and Reg S issuances, as well as U.S. credit risk retention and Volcker Rule issues.
He also regularly involves in pro bono work including in women’s rights in the workplace in Africa and immigration issues.
Caleb’s has prior experience working in West Africa on cross-border energy financing deals, including advising lenders and borrowers on syndicated lending transactions, including project finance, secured lending and multi-lender financing structures.
Caleb is keen on the intersection of ESG and securitization, as well as exploring innovative securitization structures for developing and emerging economies.

Caleb is a Junior Editor for the SFA’s SF Journal: Applied Insights for Practitioners. He is also a key member of the New York City Bar’s Structured Finance Committee and its Energy Committee.
Caleb volunteers with Earthplus Sustainability Network, an environmental nonprofit organization in Nigeria focused on environmental preservation.
Caleb contributed a video lecture on “Legal Principles of Securitization” to the Structured Finance Association’s SFAcademy.
Caleb is a nominee for the Future Awards Prize for Lawyers, a prize dubbed by the World Bank as “The Nobel Prize for Young Africans”. He also won the 2018 JCI TOYP award for Moral and Environmental Leadership.
Caleb is also an International Finance Corporation (IFC) Fellow of NYU’s prestigious IFD Fellowship.
