Overview
Clara is an arbitration and litigation specialist with approximately 10 years’ experience practicing in Singapore and London. She acts for clients across a wide range of industry sectors, with a particular focus on the energy and technology sectors.
In her international arbitration practice, Clara has acted for clients under major international rules including the SIAC, ICC, HKIAC and UNCITRAL Rules. She also advises on arbitration-related court proceedings.
In her technology practice, Clara’s practice covers contentious aspects of privacy, cyber incidents, online safety, and related investigations. As a part of the Linklaters’ global cross-practice technology sector group, Clara works closely with colleagues from the TMT and IP practices to advise clients and develop innovative and robust solutions whether through arbitration, litigation, mediation or negotiation.

- An energy major on a multi-billion dollar ICC arbitration concerning preferential rights in an offshore block
- BP in multi-billion dollar UNCITRAL arbitration against the Government of India concerning cost recovery under a production sharing contract
- A Southeast Asia-based global mining-sector client in USD200m SIAC arbitration, emergency arbitration, and Singapore and Indonesian court proceedings relating to Indonesian coal offtake agreements
- A global utilities-sector client in USD 80m SIAC arbitration relating to a portfolio of PRC water treatment companies
- An Indonesian client in a multi-billion dollar SIAC arbitration against a Philippine conglomerate in an infrastructure dispute
- A global investment company on multi-million dollar enforcement proceedings in Singapore, and managing associated proceedings in Mauritius, Japan, Indonesia and the US (New York and Delaware).
