Eliane Dejardin Botelho

Eliane joined Linklaters Luxembourg’s Capital Markets and Banking practice in 2004 and became a managing associate in May 2010
She has special expertise in banking matters, in particular international financing covering banking (credit and security taking), real estate finance, asset finance and structured finance, and has gained extensive experience in insolvency and restructurings as well as in enforcement of Luxembourg security interests.
Eliane also has expertise in regulatory matters and has been involved in a number of bank set-ups and reorganisations in Luxembourg and abroad and regularly advises banks.
She has also been involved in the set-up of a number of derivative structures for major Luxembourg banks.
Eliane’s experience also includes a secondment to the Linklaters São Paulo office from October 2008 to February 2009, to a major Luxembourg bank from October 2009 to April 2010 during which she focused on setting up structured finance products and to another major Luxembourg bank from January 2016 to May 2016 primarily focusing on private banking matters.
